Free learning opportunity! We will be joining our Land Trust partners in hosting a Wildfire Risk Education webinar on May 17th from 6:30-7:45pm. You'll learn about fire ecology, forest health, and wildfire risk and preparedness in our area from our local subject matter experts.

About the event
Do you ever wonder about the role of wildfire in Western Washington? Or about what steps you can take to reduce wildfire risk on your property? If so, join Skagit Land Trust (SLT), Whatcom Land Trust (WLT), and the Whatcom and Skagit Conservation Districts (WCD/SCD) on Tuesday, May 17th, from 6:30pm-7:45pm for the first event in our Wildfire Risk Education Series! This event is geared towards landowners in Whatcom and Skagit Counties but is open to anyone who might be interested. This event will be hosted on Zoom and is free to attend.
