Habitat Restoration Technician (full-time, salaried)
The Whatcom Conservation District (WCD) is looking for an enthusiastic entry-level natural resource management technician to assist with habitat restoration planning and implementation. The Habitat Restoration Technician works in collaboration with land managers and residents and assists F&W Habitat Improvement Program team members with planning, designing, installing, and maintaining riparian restoration projects to improve riparian conditions in private and public properties. The Technician also helps implement the District’s Annual Native Plant Sale, performs grounds maintenance, and assists the Education and Outreach Program team with general District community engagement events. This announcement will remain open until the position is filled.
