About the event
Wildfire season is here! Join us at the East Whatcom Regional Resource Center on Saturday, July 20th from 1:00-4:00PM to learn about forest stewardship and how you can make your home more wildfire resilient. This event will feature presentations from the Whatcom Conservation District's Wildfire Resilience Specialist and Forest Stewardship Specialist, Washington Department of Natural Resources, Whatcom County Sheriff's Office Division of Emergency Management, Whatcom County Health and Community Services, and Whatcom County Fire District 14. RSVP for updates and reminders, but all are welcome!
The Forest Health and Community Wildfire Resiliency Program is supported with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health.
