As wildfire season approaches, it’s more important than ever to reduce potential fire hazards around your home. Whatcom CD is hosting a Fuels Reduction Chipping Event to reduce fire risk in your community.
Saturday, May 17th, Whatcom CD is hosting a FREE wood chipping event for Samish Neighborhood Residents at the Elks Lodge on Samish Way.
Here's what you should bring:
Small branches and brush (no larger than 6 inches in diameter)
