About the event

Farmer Caroline Vandenberghe of Fog & Fleece Sheepery and conservation farm planner Elizabeth Link will demonstrate practical pasture renovation tools and strategies for forage and hay production. Attendees will see the Whatcom Conservation District’s no-till seed drill and manure spreader in action, while learning about cone spreading for lime and fertilizer application, dethatching techniques, and keyline plowing approaches to improve pasture productivity and soil health. This field-based event is designed for farmers, landowners, and anyone interested in improving pasture management in Northwest Washington conditions.
