2010 Native Plant Sale & Expo a Huge Success
This Years 17th Annual Plant Sale & Expo--
a huge success thanks to our partners
Our sale offers low cost bare root plants, ground covers, perennials, raingarden plants and education, kids activities, music, food, native plant education, local compost, and a variety of plants from local nursery vendors.
Through the support of our local partners, individuals, local businesses, and volunteers the 17th annual Whatcom Conservation District Plant (WCD) sale event successfully educated the community and promoted stewardship of Whatcom County’s natural resources. The Annual Plant Sale is just one of the ways in which the WCD works to keep our communities and our watersheds healthy. This spring, over 10,000 native plants will be planted throughout Whatcom County as a result of the success of the sale.
Special thanks to our Partner and host Whatcom Community College
Brian Keeley, Fred Tabor, Grounds Crew Staff, and Roe Studio instructors and students.
