Title:  Farm Grant Opportunities and Proposal Writing

As the season comes to a close, you may find yourself with more time to focus on financial opportunities to grow your farm. Come learn about the many resources out there for support and how to write an engaging proposal to persuade potential funders.  Solving the funding problem requires that farmers have an accurate financial plan in place and that they explore options like the funding opportunities presented in this workshop. Grants are usually a one-time donation of money connected with a certain cause or purpose. Since nationwide interest in local agriculture has increased, grants have as well. Learn more about farm funding through federal or state programs, agricultural initiatives, and commercial or private foundations.
