WWU Student raises money to support restoration in Whatcom County

Devin Mounts of the Huxley Student Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association (AWMA) held a fundraiser this year to raise money to benefit local restoration projects.  The project was a way to connect the club with the local community.  Through his efforts over $500 was collected and used to purchase 253 plants to be donated to the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association.  The trees and shrubs will be planted throughout Whatcom County to improve and restore riparian habitat.  We want to applaud and thank Devin for his efforts in s
